Activity is beneficial to your health and mental well-being. An efficient office space should offer a variety of space and posture options, and it should break the binding between the user and the desks and chairs”.
We know Google and Facebook have already set good examples of such free, self-disciplined and fun office work. American company Good Smiths once brought a billiard table into the office to make team members release their pressure before delivery time and stay calm. No matter billiards or afternoon tea, they all can make team members relax and enjoy the pleasant time so as to stimulate their creativity as well as complete the project much better.
Try to imagine that in one afternoon, an office staff can wear slippers, leaning on the sofa, read the report, handle e-mailand collect plans, which is definitely attractive.
The flexibility and fun that mobile office working brings seems to convince some of us—— sometimes we do not need to work in a community-based and stiff office.
However，it does not mean that working in office loses its necessity and superiority. Joint office work benefits team work, cooperation, relationship improvement and sound atmosphere. When we work in office，we can establish connection and trust through collaboration, stimulate creativity of the team and make more achievements in project cooperation.
In the future, how can we create the office that people want to and is willing to work in？
The answer is: fun！
With more mobile office work, staffs’ requirements for better working environment as well as more emphasis on self-recognition, it becomes rather important to bring fun into office.
We are trying to help staff acquire more pleasure in work and, more importantly, establish fun office culture through the office furniture design and atmosphere building. When we break the norm and use creative ways to build the connection between people, we are expected to have a lot of fun.
Stand up and walk, the introduction of the new community-based office system is to help staff communicate and interact with each other while walking in the office. Walking not only benefits people mentally and physically, but also encourages people to have more interaction and communication, and stimulates creativity.
Creating excellent office culture allows staff to stay true to themselves in their work. The authenticity of office environment helps staff to build trust so as to promote cooperation and innovation.
At abroad there are many cutting-edge thoughts toward office——Joe Fernandez, CEO of Klout, once stated——everyone will invite their friends to drop by even though it is not a second house, it is, at least, a preferred clubhouse.
This view may seem too advanced for China at present, but it may be accepted in the near future？
Every single day, we spend over 10 hours in office on average. Suppose you have no passion for your work, and no love for your work place, how miserable you will be. What we do is to make all employees happy to work in the office. We hope that the excellent office culture and office which is full of fun have the same attraction compared with free home officing.
