“customer service” is a concept that once was considered as one confined to traditional service industry, now it has driven the entire industrial and commercial circle to move forward and pursue excellence. Since the 1990s, customer service has become the ultimate weapon for the enterprises to win the competition.

American famous marketing scientists A. Parasuraman and Valarie A. Zeithmal did a lot of research and pointed out that: customers estimate the quality of service mainly according to five standards: reliability, sensitivity, credibility, empathy, visible evidence and so on. Among them, except that “reliability” is related to technology quality, all the others are more or less related to the quality of service process which means the quality of service process has a large influence on the customers’ feelings.

We have attached more importance to customer experience, but customer experience is not only reflected in the product level but also in service which can leave a deep impression on customers. The coffee in Starbucks is no doubt delicious, but the good service leaves a deeper impression on customers. Starbucks may be the first place that introduces free Wi-Fi within its stores.
